Sine Wave Inverters
Victron power inverters have a pure sine wave output, high peak power and high efficiency. All these, combined high frequency and line frequency technologies ensure the best of both worlds..
Victron inverters are powerful enough to supply most common plug in appliances in your home, car, boat, caravan or motorhome. A toroidal transformer provides a high peak power surge capacity, stable voltage, frequency and high quality sine-wave.
Installation of the inverter simpler than ever before with terminals now more accessible for the installer, enabling a more professional finish of the electrical components.
Majority come with Bluetooth built-in, and makes setting up your high power inverter extremely easy, easier than ever before. From the tip for your finger configure alarms, alarm relay, voltage cut-off, output voltage, frequency, eco-mode and more, all from within VictronConnect.
Available Victron inverter models in our shop
Victron Phoenix inverters come in 12 / 24 / 48 Volt series both for the USA (120V) and the European market (230V).
While the RS Smart model is 6000W, the Phoenix models are ranging between 250W up to 5000W.
Some of the power inverter models are equipped with a display to read out battery, inverter, and solar charger details.
FAQs Inverter
Yes, they have pure sine wave output, high peak power and high efficiency. Combined high frequency and line frequency technologies ensure the best of both worlds. Developed for professional duty, the Victron Phoenix range of inverters and the RS models are suitable for the widest range of applications.
For larger more complex solar hybrid or off grid power systems, the Victron Inverter Chargers are excellent but we wouldn’t go as far as stating they are better than names like the German SMA or the Australian Selectronic. With all that said, if remote web-based system management and battery compatibility is critical then Victron is one of the best options globally.
An off-grid inverter needs a battery bank to function. How it works? Your solar panels feed DC power into the batteries via a charge controller or solar inverter via a battery inverter charger. Then your battery inverter takes that power and “inverts” it, creating AC power for your loads in your home. This works essentially like a miniature power grid. Called mini grid.
Yes, you can build an off grid solar panel power plant without a battery, but you won’t be able to utilize an off grid or hybrid solar inverter. String inverters (On grid or grid tie solar inverters) will be necessary, however, the grid tie power solar inverters require a reference power supply. This can a generator or a small battery.
Inverter Chargers
Victron battery inverters chargers have a pure sine wave output and a market leading high peak power These high efficiency power components ensure stable and continues power for your off grid project.
Majority of inverter chargers are equipped with Bluetooth built-in, and makes setting up your high power inverter extremely easy, easier than ever before. From the tip for your finger configure alarms, alarm relay, voltage cut-off, output voltage, frequency, eco-mode and more, all from within VictronConnect.
Installation of the inverter charger is very simple, with terminals now more accessible for the installer, enabling a more professional finish of your system.
The inverter chargers are capable of parallel operation for increased power output, or battery charge-rates can be configured to three phase.
Available Victron inverter chargers in our shop
Victron Multiplus and the Quattro inverter chargers come in 12 / 24 / 48 Volt series both for the USA (120V) and the European market (230V). Models ranging between 600 W and 10.000 W for Multi and up to 15.000 W at the Quattro.
While the EasySolar model is between 1600 W and 5000 W, the EasyPlus is available only on 1600W configuration.
Some of the power inverter models are equipped with a display to read out battery, inverter, and solar charger details.
FAQs Inverter Charger
The Netherlands
The Victron battery inverter charger will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or grid power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or utility grid side supply with power taken from the battery.
In order to have a fully functional solar panel system beside the inverter charger you would need either a solar charge controller or a solar power inverter on the PV side.
A Victron inverter can prevent a limited AC power source overload, like a generator or shore power connection in an RV. It does this by automatically reducing battery charging to avoid an overload. If that’s not enough, it will even take power from the battery and boost the output of the power source instead.
Charge Controllers
Victron features a wide range of PVM and MPPT solar charge controllers. Almost all of them can be used with GX monitoring device (CCGX, Venus GX, Octo GX or Cerbo GX). The controller is in essence a switch that connects a solar array to the battery. The result is that the voltage of the array will be pulled down to near that of the battery
PWM and MPPT charge controllers are both widely used to charge batteries with solar power.. Majority of solar charge controllers are suitable for a variety of battery voltages. Most power regulator models connect to 12, 24, and 48V batteries, some only connect to 12 and 24V batteries, or only to 48V batteries.
Multiple Victron charger controllers can be used in parallel, for large systems we recommend to use the models with a VE.Can communication port.
All larger units feature the Victron standard remote on/off terminals. All models that don’t feature an onboard Remote on/off terminal can be remotely controlled by using the VE.Direct non inverting remote on/off cable.

Almost all charge controllers we sell come in 12/24/36/48 Volt models.
Please use the Sizing Calculator of Victron to correctly size your system, both on the solar panel and battery side. Always chose the right solar charge controller for your energy system.
FAQs Charge Controller
The charge controller`s job is to regulate the flow of power from the panels to the battery bank and it is constantly ‘communicating’ to the solar panels to see what power they have available and ‘talking’ to the battery bank to see what they need. It will go through three stages of charging; bulk, absorption & float.
The main difference between a Victron PWM and MPPT charge control devices is that the MPPT devices are more efficient. MPPT charge control devices have 30 % more efficient in charge efficiency according to PWM type. Panel voltage and battery voltage should always be matched in PWM systems.
You take the total watts of the solar panel array divided by the voltage of the batteries in your battery bank. That will give you the output current of the charge controller. For example, a 1000W solar solar panel system (array) ÷ 24V battery bank = 41.6A. The rating of the charge controller should be at least 40A.
